THE “BLUE RIBBON COMMITTEE”
FOR THE ASSESSMENT OF CAMPUS MINISTRIES
IN THE OREGON-IDAHO ANNUAL CONFERENCE
In the spring of 2009, the Conference Leadership Team (CLT) approved the formation of a “Blue Ribbon Committee” for an in-depth assessment of our conference campus ministries. “Blue Ribbon” indicates a committee comprised of persons, both lay and clergy, that offer both expertise and leadership capital. “In-depth assessment” indicates a thorough review of the current state of campus ministries in light of the annual conference’s Strategic Direction, a study of campus ministry trends and developments across the country, and the level at which the conference can support campus ministries. The product will be a report presented to the CLT in February or March of 2010...
