As the new Assistant to the Bishop assigned to the Snake River District I would like to introduce myself. My name is Kim Fields. I am 55 years old, married to Lorraine, and together we have four
children, a son-in-law, a daughter-in-law, one grandson, and three cats. I was born and raised on a ranch in Fairfield, Idaho and farmed and ranched in the Fairfield – Gooding area for ten years
before leaving the Gooding United Methodist Church to go into the pastoral ministry. I have served four churches, all in the Snake River District: American Falls, Aberdeen, St. Paul’s Idaho Falls, and Nampa First. I have deaned and counseled at more camps at Sawtooth than I can count. Indeed, except for the eight years I spent in school, I have lived my whole life in the Snake River District.
